Dear Family and Friends
,

WORD
“Marriage is honorable among all…”  (Heb. 13:4)  “…the two shall become one flesh”. (Eph. 5:31)
WISDOM
The picture above, by Carol Hall, shows that the Ideal Marriage includes 3 people:   the man, the woman, and Jesus.  When the husband and wife recognize and imitate Jesus in their personal lives and in their Marriage Covenant, they find clear direction, enabling power, fulfillment for themselves and blessings for their children.         Marriage is…… a God-ordained “framework of fellowship” that WORKS, when Jesus is present.

WIT
QUESTION:  What is greater than God, and more evil than the Devil,
the poor have it, the rich need it, and if you eat it, you’ll die?

ANSWER:      Nothing !
WELLSPRING
“Enjoying Haiku Insight-Out”
May my love for you,
Like a towering pine tree,
Be upright and strong !

A WORK of the Lord in Japan.

In 1998 a Marriage Seminar took place at CFN-Japan Bible School, for students and the public. Shown below (at right) are Dr. Harold Reents and his wife, Patty, together with the interpreter. The Reents’ have been married for 53 years (in 2008), have 5 children, 16 grandchildren, and 6 Great-Grandkids. Their united walk with Jesus during those years is reflected in their joyful sharing of deep truths from His Word.

Dr. Reents is a Board Member of CFN-Japan, Inc. (U.S.A.).  He was formerly the Superintendent of Schools in Litchfield Illinois for 12 years, as well as in various positions (Registrar, Academic Dean, Business Mgr., etc) at Christ For The Nations (Dallas), where he graduated in 1980.   Dr. Reents is a prayerful and capable part of CFN-Japan’s Network of Accountability.  He presently is an Assistant to his Pastor in Hillsboro, IL

Standing together with you looking to the Lord,
