Dear Family and Friends
,

WORD
“Come, take up your cross, and follow Me”. (Mk.10:21)  He who does not take his cross and follow Me, is not worthy of Me”. (Matt.10:38) “In the world you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world” (John 16:33)
WISDOM
Mikiya Tadano-san (photo above), only 2 weeks after receiving Jesus Christ as his Savior and Lord, volunteered to carry a wooden cross in a city-wide March For Jesus in Sapporo. By being a living testimony of God’s revealed truth in this world, every Christian will encounter a cross in some way. But just as Jesus rose from the dead, so also will those who follow Jesus have victory in life by following Him, Who is Life and Truth.

WIT
An actual description of “Love” from a child:

Love is when your puppy licks your face even after you left him alone all day”.         Mary Ann – Age 4
WELLSPRING

A WORK of the Lord in Japan.

The photo below is of two CFN-J graduates, Pastor Mikiya Tadano-san, his wife, Shinobusan and their two sons.  Their youngest son, Elijah, contracted meningitis at age two and has been unconscious for several years.  His father and mother maintain a constant vigil of prayer for Elijah, and take turns visiting him daily.

Please pray with them for their son’s full recovery!  Although Elijah was declared brain dead, he is now moving his arms and other parts of his body.  Pray, that just as Jesus revealed God’s glory by healing the man born blind, (John 9:1-12) He will heal Elijah and bring glory to God through his life.  (The word “CHU” on Elijah’s photo represents the sound Japanese use for a “kiss”.)

Standing together with you looking to the Lord,
