Dear Family and Friends,

May the light of Christ continue to shine on you throughout this new year 2008.

WORD
“I am the light of the world, whoever follows Me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life”. (John 8:12)
WISDOM
Natural light enables us see material things around us, and spiritual light enables us to recognize spiritual realities. Our eyes and physical light give us SIGHT, but spiritual light gives us VISION. “Without vision, the people perish” (Prov.29:18). Vision, in the original Hebrew, means Gate-Keeper. Without Jesus the Gate-Keeper we would perish, but with Him, we have light and life.
WIT
The man boasted, “I have a photographic memory, but right now I just don’t have any film”.

A WORK of the Lord in Japan.

When we the open the door of our hearts to God and allow His light and love to come in (See photo above of Japanese room & Bible), and accept Jesus as our Savior, then we are born-again, through receiving the life of God in our spirit. This is followed by a public declaration of our faith through Baptism. (Photo below) Rev. Rodolfo Garza, CFNJ Inc. Advisor & Pastor Yoshihiro Okada administer baptism.

This new life-relationship with God comes as a seed, which, like all seeds and all relationships, needs to grow.  This is what CFN-Japan Bible School  is all about: cooperating with local church pastors, by helping believers to grow in their relationship with God, through in-depth study and practice of His Word, and to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit throughout life.

Standing together with you looking to the Lord,

Charles and Dianne Gyurko
