Dear Family and Friends
,

You can see why this Texas Longhorn moves with confidence wherever he goes!
WORD
“Jesus taught them as One having authority. (Mt. 7:29)
“Jesus appointed the 12…to have authority (=power) to heal sickness and to cast out demons”. (Mk. 3:14-15)
WISDOM
The word “authority” (Gk. exousia), as seen in a policeman’s badge, means the ability and capacity to act, as well as the right to use might (dunamis).  Powerless ministries have become powerful when believers discover that they have the authority to use the power of Jesus’ Name and Blood against the enemy, Satan.  Jesus gave this authority to teach, heal, and deliver, and that authority has never been rescinded. (John 14:12)

WIT
With those horns, the Texas Longhorn (above) can win all his battles, but one thing he can’t do, is to sleep on his side!

WELLSPRING
“Enjoying Haiku Insight-Out”
Dueling at night,
Slashing through flickering skies,
Sword-fighting storm clouds.

A WORK of the Lord in Japan.

Rev. Carroll Thompson, a former missionary in South America, a long time Teacher at CFNI (Dallas), and Pastor, was a Guest Speaker at CFN-Japan Bible School (below, with his interpreter).  His carefully selected words reflect the power of Jesus’ Presence, and the authority of His words. Students were alert to each of his points in class, as well as in the books he has written.

One time when Rev. Thompson saw a thief running away from a school office in the U.S., he shouted,   “Stop, in the Name of Jesus!”, and the thief stopped,… and waited…until police arrived to handle the situation! The enemy, Satan, must obey the Name of Jesus, when we walk with faith in His authority.

Standing together with you in Jesus’ powerful Name,
