One-Liner July 4, 2008

Dear Family and Friends,

WORD

“Then comes the end, when He (Jesus) delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power. For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet. (I Cor.15:24-25)

WISDOM

A bear “rug mat” (photo above), cannot hurt us. By His death and resurrection, Jesus loosed the bonds that Satan had over the human race due to man’s sin, and enabled His followers to have control over the powers of the enemy. Satan is still alive, and challenges us in order to regain authority, but if we live in the Spirit, we can keep Satan under foot (like a rug mat), and render him harmless, so that he cannot hurt us spiritually.

At Jesus’ Second Coming, Satan will be totally bound forever, and Jesus will turn over the reins of divine government to God the Father.

WIT

A man had such a poor self-image that the only job that he thought he qualified for, was to be a “speed bump” on a street.

WELLSPRING

A WORK of the Lord in Japan.

A frequent Guest Speaker at CFN-Japan Bible School, Dr. Paul Kiichi Ariga (below), visited Argentina in 1992, studied spiritual warfare from Dr. Peter Wagner and Cindy Jacobs, and was President of Kansai Biblical Seminary in Kobe, Japan. Today he ministers widely in many leading roles.

Dr. Ariga was also Chairman of the Koshien Revival Mission, which drew more than 100,000 people in total in the 3-day event (1993), which, for Charles and Dianne, who joined a stadium filled with Japanese believers praising the Lord, was the highlight of our combined 32 years of living in Japan. Please continue to pray for Dr. Ariga and for the revival in Japan.
